Salah is the artist name for Ahmad Salahuddin. Salah is a Pakistani-born bilingual artist who writes and sings in English and Urdu. Salah is based in Washington, D.C metropolitan area where he plays regularly at various music venues around the larger metropolitan area.

Early Life

Salah started his music journey at a young age, playing at events in schools and participating in music competitions in Lahore, Pakistan. In 2008, Salah represented his school at the LUMS Olympiad singing competition held at Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) and won the 1st prize.

Salah went to Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute for Engineering Sciences and Technology (GIKI) in Pakistan where he was the President of the Music and Arts student club (Naqsh Arts Society) and also represented GIKI and won at the 2012 P&G Battle of the Bands held at FAST NUCES Lahore.

Salah moved to Cleveland, OH in the USA in 2014 and started playing at different bars and venues building a loyal following. He has been playing music ever since and has lived and played at different venues in Cleveland, Pittsburgh, New York City, and Washington DC. In 2016 Salah formed and presided over the Heinz Music Club at the Heinz School at Carnegie Mellon where he went for Masters Education.
